POEM: “Hope: This life”

Leah - poem - Hope This life

“Hope: This life”

Oh how hopeless and futile it seems
How temporary – Just a breath
Everything’s in vain…

Caught in time it feels endless
The struggles, doubts and broken dreams
A war between Flesh and Spirit

But there IS hope
Meaning behind the mundane
Purpose past the pain

Our time is here – the Spiritual womb
Our life Source – the Holy Spirit
This is where we are shaped, molded, developed…
Tested, tried, strengthened, purified…
For the life in eternity.

When that glorious time comes,
that last breath of air is taken.
Our spirit is freed from flesh…

Is only the beginning
As we are birthed
Into eternal life…

All pain, sin and tears cease,
We finally arrive at the Heavenly Gates,
To see our Wonderful Maker’s face.
This is Our Hope ❤
